Week 5

Well today me and my team had to stand up and show are slide show presentation to Klear, showing her the hole process of are leaflet. We included are first one that we made together, then are new one that we also made together with grate team effort, and I was the one that said that we how the layout is going to be with all the colours in it.

After we did the presentation Kler's feedback was that it was a nice process that we went through making the final product are leaflet. She also said that what we didn't do was put pictures in it that we were going to do but we ran out of time, (Are last presentation was lost in one of the computers that we used last week).

At the end of the day we did are best and worked hard last minute because of are technical problems, and I'm glad that I was a big part of the process of are final product.

Good images but you need to make sure that you are fully writing everything up and you are up to date. This needs some serious work now!

Week 4

First of I went out with Liam to do a survey...

We went out and took a few pictures of the orange tree cafe so we can use it for the final project and also so we can get a better view of the place its self...

...on the left you can see an active street and at lunch time a lot more active so the cafe should have a lot of customers. maybe not enough but at least the positioning of it is good. BUT from the this point of view can you see the orange tree cafe? You have to have a good eye to see it...





...from this view of the cafe you can see that the BHF sign is in the way of the orange tree cafe, putting the cafe in the background. I think that the idea of the cafe being based on a mainly black or dark colour is not a good idea because it kind of disperse from the rest of the shops.

Now look at the last picture at the bottom, see anything wrong? The BHF is much lighter and open than the dark insides of the orange tree cafe. This is a big problem because the cafe looks dead inside and to some maybe not open.




I think that if the orange tree cafe maybe lightened up and looked more open and have a big sign sticking out to show off to the customers it will get a lot more customers and therefor make a larger profit.

Week 3

Today I started off with looking at the pictures that was taken when I was absent. There were some good ones but the best one was of a carrot cake, the picture it's self was a bit too dark so I thought that we should do something about this, so I used Photoshop to make it brighter.

Latter on after listening to Mr. hind, I thought that we should go out a do a survey of what’s the most favorite place to eat on Berly street, this was a great idea that I came up with as we then found out that not that many people said they had been to the orange tree cafe, but we now know it's popularity in the street. The thing is with the orange tree cafe is that it isn't that out standing to the human eye, because of it's dark look to it and the fact it looks like it's hiding away from the world.

I thought that we should do another survey in another street next week. Because then we could maybe get an average from the different surveys so we can get a good idea were in the line of cafes the orange tree café is…

Week 2

Today I got on with my reaserch report, I'm starting to get some were with it, I've almost done the table bit and going to do more at home. We whent out and took some close up pictures with a connon camera. I took some nice up close pictures of some food, and some of the spear change in my pocket and a realy nice one of a plant, I went for its most darkest area and most fiting giding line. I also took a picture of a cool hazard sign, it was the electric hazard sign that had not to much reaflection bouncing off of it, just to make it perfect I put the shutter on a split second so the is less chance of bluring in the picture.
